The Ministry of Tourism of the Region of Valencia launches new funding programmes for the valencian tourist sector
The Valencian Regional Department of Tourism has launched, as part of its Competitiveness Plan 2009 – 2011, new funding programmes for the year 2010, aimed at supporting projects undertaken by the Valencian tourist sector and with a view to boosting the competitiveness of this industry through sustainable development. With a budget of €7 million, projects can secure funding for up to 50%, or in some cases 75%, of their costs, in order to provide as much support as possible in the current scenario.
